In the southern side of the "Riviera degli olivi" has a mild climate, with the mediterranean flora, the vineyards from which is produced the Bardolino wine.
In Bardolino you can find many medieval builaings. Everywhere there are churches (S.Severo, S.Maria in Cisano, S. Giorgio sulla Rocca).

In Bardolino it is possible to perform many sports like mountain-biking, trekking, sailing, walking through the hills and the woods. There are restaurants, diskos, pubs, wine producers and wineshops, musical performances (every wednesday at 9 p.m. the concert of "Filarmonica Bardolino"). You can also visit the oil- and wine museum in Cisano.

In 2004 Bardolino was splendid theater of the Cycling World Championships. Throughout you can follow by bike, thanks to the traffic signs, the path made by the internationally renowned athletes who participated in the competition. Also very important the 'Triathlon City of Bardolino'
which takes place every year and attracts international athletes.


Near to Bardolino you can visit a lot of interesting cities and areas like:
VERONA:  is a city rich in history with a lot of houses churches and buildings of every age and style, Verona's most important claim to fame that it provides the setting for Shakespeare's moving and romantic play "Romeo and Juliet" wich is worshipped and revered by lovers from all over the world. Verona is also the city of enchanting sunny squares, (piazza Bra, piazza dei Signori, piazza delle erbe). The city of museums and famous works of art (Castelvecchio, Palazzo Forti), the city of the biggest lyrical theatre in the world, the ARENA

MANTOVA: The city of the ancient family "Gonzaga" with the famous "Palazzo The";
SIRMIONE: with its thermae;
VALEGGIO SUL MINCIO: you can visit "Parco Sigurtà
" with wonderful gardens and exotic trees and flowers;
MALCESINE: with its harbor and castle;
BORGHETTO: with a medieval bridge;
MONTE BALDO: 2200 mt. high. Because of its extraordinary wealth of flora species, many of which endemic, monte Baldo has for centuries been named "Hortus Europae" and accessible also by the new cableway
in Malcesine. In Spiazzi, perched on a steep rock wall overlooking the valdadige is the sanctuary of the Madonna della Corona;
VALPOLICELLA: From Valpolicella to Valdalpone, the Veronese hill is an important area of production of wines and olive oil. The Valpolicella, crowed with rural villages and lavisch villas, like "Villa Santa Sofia" attributed to Palladio;

Last but not least the fun and aquatic parks offer unforgettable amusement for your childrens: "GARDALAND
" "CANEVA WORLD" and "PARCO ZOO SAFARI" and many others.
